On social media - and especially on TikTok - there is a new trend where the creators of the videos choose between two things. With the hashtag #itstricky and, of course, in the background It's tricky by RUN DMC. In this article you will find the best questions! What do you choose?

The basis idea of this new trend on TikTok it is not that difficult. You see two choices on the screen and the person in the video chooses between them. Does she choose TikTok: she walks to the left. Or does she choose Instagram: she walks to the right. Simple.
Difficult choices
Do you also want to do this too? It's not that hard. Just think of informative questions about yourself with two options. So you ask questions that consist of two choices. With the answer you indicate the preference of yourself. By which you thus describe yourself. Do you choose this or do you choose that?
In most of the videos on TikTok you see the choices being answered in different ways:
- The answer to the question says something about the person themselves. This could be something that someone cannot change (left-handed or right-handed), or it could be about what someone's preference is. Do you choose jeans or joggers? And then the person answers with what he or she likes to wear.
- But most videos are about what someone likes to see in another person. What do you prefer in a new relationship: that your new flame cares about lots of money or that he or she prefers to be sweet? Jeans or joggers? Well, I like to be my boyfriend/girlfriend in ....
By the way, in some videos this unintentionally gets mixed up. Then you have a video with the choice Samsung or iPhone. But does the answer say something about what someone has or does it say something about what someone would want if she had the choice? Or does it say, for example, of what someone wants from a new partner? Sometimes even this is not clear.

To help you with fun choices and good questions I have compiled a long list of choices below. Sometimes easy, sometimes harder.
I've collected these choices from the videos that were liked the most by you, and where the choices came back in multiple videos. The most common questions are at the top. I also added questions from friends and from students.
These are also great choices to ask as introduction questions. For example, during a first date, blind date or speed date. They are all closed questions which you then naturally continue to ask.
Ask questions about the choice someone is making. How does someone mean it exactly? Or did someone not want to make both choices? Was it not a dilemma? Is the answer about the person themselves or about the partner they would like? And so on. If you do this, then it is better to agree on how to explain the choices. Is it about what you desire in a partner or describing yourself?
